Fishing knife

I have one of those Schrade filet knives...except has a walnut handle. Yes, it is wicked sharp.

When I still kept the fish I caught (a good fish is too good to catch only once) I carried a SMALL fixed blade (my own making. MUCH easier to clean than a SAK), as well as one of the more complete SAKs, now i carry a Buck Solitaire and a Leatherman Wave (blades on most Leathermans' aren't strong enough for my taste)

I carry a Gerber Multi-Plier for hook removal, tightening screws, etc.
A Schrade, usually a stockman pattern, is always in my pocket.
I have a Kershaw Two Can on my key ring which I use to cut line, it even works on braided line.
A fillet knife I made (back at the house for filleting).
In addition there is at least one knife in each tackle box. I will also carry any new knife I have that I want to field test.
So many options :D

4th down is the Steelhead from Schrade.
Real plastic stag and some sort of stainless, not steel snob level stuff.
But it works.
Filleted a bunch of Bluefish with that one.
:D
Son I haven,t had bluefish since the last time I was in Jersey . DEEEEELICIOUS . Thanks for the info on the knife . I am glad its not uber expensive . I wonder if walmart sells that model . It sure looks like carbon steel to me .
