Fishing line

I guess I'm in the minority, I run about 25 yards or so of 6-8 lb mono. Arounder here one could catch 10 small eating size fish much easier than 1 lunker. That's why I've always run lighter line.

Might have to look in to some braid. I've never liked it for regular fishing, but for a PSK it might not be a bad route. One of the reasons I dig W&SS.
 
FWIW: IF you opt for braided line and mono/fluro leader learn to tie the uni-knot for line to leader applications and the palomar knot for hook attatchment.
