330 shipped each! Both of these are officially available in time for father's day. I'll be completing the sheaths over the next day and then they'll be ready to go. Steel is 3/32 AEB L with a 7" cutting edge on a zero flex flat grind. Handles stabilized curly maple with premium alumalite and cast lures in the resin with Jade/ black G10 caps and spacers. Sheaths handmade by myself using 7/8oz Herman oak leather with premium ritza thread and a wax soak! Payments via PayPal please and for any other questions please feel free to pm me or email at brushcreekknives@gmail

Holy cow those are for sure the most awesome handles I’ve seen! AMAZING! So creative, wonderful job on these!

Are there any bearings or rattles inside the lures (like a rattle trap lure) to where it will rattle or make noise while walking or using it?

Will the clear resin turn yellow after time, or will it stay clear?

There's no rattle or noise to these, since they are cast in the resin they are stationary in the handle and the lures themselves are solid so no extra noise 🙂 also the resin is premium alumalite and while it will scuff overtime with use like anything, they will not discolor. I have some blades that are over 10 years old that still look and perform great!

Very cool idea. I think you could have a steady sale of those with assortments of lures/flies in them. You need to patent the idea! The blades are beautiful as well!
Thank you so much! I actually have been doing them for a while and they sell fairly quickly but I just enjoy the craft mainly as a hobby lol I wouldn't want anyone else to not have a chance to make something this neat, I think everyone should have a shot at the idea if they have the time and interest 🙂

I have seen this done before, just not this well, and it's rare to see.

About 5 years back, one of Fred Perrin's artist friends from Paris made clear grips for a few LaGriffes that contained things like postage stamps and bottle caps.

Very awesome, I have never done post stamps or bottle caps but I have done jawbone, shark teeth and other neat stuff from time to time

I've seen 1911 handles done this way from back in the War, G.I.'s would make grips for their pistols with naked photos of their gals under the resin

*these fishing lure ones are Super Cool!!!
