No I didn't go on a date with a bullfrog. But the date went really well. It was fun. I will probably see her again wednesday or thursday. I can't wait. :D

I'm one of those leftist tree-hugging (insert word here) that you all like so much, but this is a good reason why I don't like PETA - because they don't have anything to DO with conservation.

See, Bullfrogs aren't native. They were introduced to the US and have done a lot of damage. They ate EVERYTHING! Bugs, fish, mice, BIRDS! Screwed up the ecosystem.

Anyway... to answer your question...

I assume you're talking about fishing with LIVE bullfrogs? No point in fishing with dead ones, really. Hook them in the back leg, shallow, so they can still kick and act like a frog. Bass are leary of an un-natural-acting animal. Besides, Bass like to swallow their food whole and, as a bass fisherman, you should be patient enough to allow them to do so before setting the hook.

not to think that fishing with, rather than eating frog(legs) is the better decision...(Smile)
 
Thats a pretty nice bullfrog ya got there. Be careful they can bite a man and ruin his knife making time.

It's one that she took herself and emailed to me so that i could have a few pics of her. No she is not related to me in any way whatsoever. :D I went to Sportsmans Warehouse and Bass Pro Shops today and picked up a bow fishing setup for my recurve bow. I can't wait to go hunting for gar and if im lucky be able to find some nice big catfish. I'll post pics of what i find. Also picked up some more lures (no immitation frogs tho). Still have a couple of things to do here before i head home but I plan to go fishing and bow fishing either tomorrow or monday.
