Fisk engraved Sendero - sole authorship !

Just a breathtaking knife Jerry.., and terrific pictures Coop..., thanks. That patterning is just beautiful....

Hubba hubba hubba! That knife is gorgeous!!!!

I bet you can cut stuff with it too ;)

I don't have words that could come close to doing that knife or its pictures justice at all.

I spoke with Jerry Fisk today, and there has been a LOT of interest in this knife (Surprise). He is considering a lottery to determine the purchaser. I can only say that the winner had best have a full wallet.

I was fortunate to acquire a similar, slightly less fancy Sendero a few months ago, and I know how much I love mine. I think I'd love this one even more. :)

I have only recently gotten interested in forged fixed blades by mastersmiths, or makers of similar quality, and this could get mighty expensive, but its worth it! My Sendero was my first, thought I'd start at the top. :)

Here's my less fancy, but still VERY attractive Sendero. Thanks for making it Jerry! :)

Thanks Jim, I just wish i could take pics like you do... :)

I guess i felt it was less fancy because it doesnt have gold inlay, and the wolfstooth damascus on mine seems a little less complex, please however, don't think for a minute that i dont absolutely love it! :)

Glad you like that knife. I sure do. I have only made one with the gold border. That is the thing I like about making knives. There is no end to it, I can keep learning and I am my own drawback. With my personality I tend to keep pushing. That is good for my knives but also good for the clients. Just because the client now owns the knife instead of me does not mean he is fully responsible for its increase in value. That is up the maker to keep pushing and doing. This way even the guy that bought the plain carbon steel hunter to only use in the woods and not to collect will realize an increase in value with his knife. I like doing that.
I will try to let you know when your piece pops up in a magazine somewhere. Once again, glad you like it. By the way, you have a nice collection going there bubba. I was impressed.

Ari, you sure have some nice knives in your "Little" collection! Your Fisk is every bit as nice as the other one. I especially love Jerry's sharktooth damascus pattern.
