I would like to announce that Master smith Don Hanson and Journeyman smith Pete Crowl will be our guest makers at the 2010 Fisk Micro Show that will be held on October 8 and 9th.

These two makers will be fun to get together and learn more about with both being known for their clean work and good values. I have links to their websites posted on the Micro Show button of my website, though many of you already know their sites and work.

I look forward to seeing you guys there.

Don and Pete,

Great choices for the show, and there's no way to tell you how much fun you're going to have. You'll see...

Way to go, Pete.
Nobody deserves a little exposure more than you. They picked a good man for the show and to represent character in knifemaking.

It should be a good time. We plan on a gator tour on friday, the barge will hold up to 17 more than that we can drag behind for bait.

Congratulations Don and Pete.
Going to be a great time with great food and great knives.
Believe this is #6 isn't it Jerry? And they get better each year.

Will be the 6th and should be 30 years of knife making for Jerry:thumbup::D:thumbup: Always the best time for fun and knives:thumbup:

Hey guys, yes, it is the 6th year and it is also my 30th year of trying to learn how to forge. Not sure what knife to carry on a gator run but you can bet most all will have one. That way right before the gator gets you then you can just cut your own guts out. thats funny, I don't care who you are.

Congrats Don and Pete - looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Roger

Karl, make me a couple, I'll probably need them

Will, I'm just a hill billy that learned to make knives.

Gator giggin sounds like fun. We can use Paul and Chuck for bait :D
