For sale- New in package Cold Steel 12" Barong Survival Machete, $29.00 plus $7.75 shipping. This is probably the best overall bush survival tool you can get for the money. The blade is as thick as a Cold Steel Bushman and it will chop like a good hatchet and also batons very well. I own two of these and they are one of my favorite bush blades.
Benchmade 10502 Pardue Rant Fixed Blade straight-edged, 440C, brand new. This is the discontinued Red Series Rant made in the USA. A better alternative than the D2 version if near saltwater or for easier sharpening. I aquired it in a trade with a local shop so it is brand new and never used and has the full Benchmade warranty. $64.00 shipped (USPS Priority Mail with tracking)
Fiskars 28" Pro Chopping Axe with custom leather sheath, made in Finland, used but well cared for.
This was my personal use axe over the last year and the only reason I'm selling it is because my girlfriend is getting mad about axes being all over the house lol. The steel on some Fiskars can be overly soft but this axe has chopped and split several cords of wood and the edge is still excellent.
You'll note in the one picture that a small piece of plastic is missing. Before I filed down the excess plastic a splinter of wood got stuck while splitting Elm and it chipped the edge of the plastic. This in no way affected the integrity of the axe and since filing down the excess plastic I've used it to chop and split countless pieces of firewood with zero problems. It is an excellent axe and will outchop my Wetterlings Scandinavian Forest Axe.
