Fist GEC, impressions.

Love it.

The spear is just the right shape for me. Long pull and ebony!

I have not been able to set aside the funds for one, but hopefully some day!

What about the Liars Circle, Carl? What would those ole ner'do wells think? Would it pass muster with the boys?

Thanks for reviewing this knife - I read your info and decided to get one... I managed to find one just like it through a GEC dealer. It looks like the perfect mix between a compact, urbane knife and a heavy-duty cutter. The jigged bone was nice too but ebony is close to perfect.

"blade floozie". I like that. A sailor of the knife seas with a different knife in every port.

Not bashing anyone, but when I got my first GEC, I put my case knives in a drawer. I haven't carried one since. :)

Funny that, I discovered case after GEC and have been sticking to peanuts for a while now (although I have a Tidioute half congress which I acquired recently that has been in and out of the pocket).

I don't see why the old liars circle scalawags wouldn't have liked it. It doesn't have that 'new fangled stainless steel junk' as they called, nor the 'plastic' handles. Just a good old timey wood handled sigle blade jack with good carbon steel.

But I think the price may have them scared them, so they may have just plotted to steal one.

Carl.

What about Granddad? I know he had a taste for fine knives, though he was partial to stag.

That's too bad about the breakfast club suffering losses. Hopefully the summer will treat the rest of the group better.

Glad you're enjoying the 15 after a couple of weeks.
