The interesting thing is both those guys, wtlj who posted pop originally and pwrdbycotn figured out something every fast. Tapatalk was able to bypass the posting rules of a minimum of 5 characters, plus perhaps used push to update the post? So they were very quick in there. I guess "pop" transmits faster than 'I'll take one."?

This was a bit unusual as well as the thread was already here, which is not normal and I would expect a PC to have the advantage when it comes to loading a new thread.

Normally when I reply, it reloads the post and no one else is in yet, and both of them were, so I think they were doing the same thing, since they are friends, and I got lucky and caught the refresh not too slow, as I am doing it manually and split the difference between them.

Maybe tapatalk users can figure out how to replicate that success on a normal sale?

Edit: Also if you edit your post really quick, there is no edit tag left in it, so I think we can all learn something here and just post 5 characters then come back to edit it. I know saying this is going to piss people off, but if it works you gotta compete!

Justin, this has evolved greatly from our conversations just a few months ago. In the past, if I REALLY wanted a blade badly, I could score it in the Friday sales. Today, I hit every move perfectly from my laptop and ended up tenth. Not good enough in a five-knife sale. I've just been having fun lately, but if I'm going to get serious I'll have to up my game. OR, I'll make it worth your while to proxy. I never thought I'd have to get smart phone savvy to score a knife, lol!

Yeah HK, this tech world keeps changing, gotta innovate to keep up. The only way I can get my message to transmit faster is to learn from this week, post 5 characters rather than 12, then come back to edit it. I don't know a faster way to get to see when the thread opens, I manually refresh which is a weak point obviously. If I get some spare time tonight I will look it up!

I've never done well on these refresh sales, 2nd is my best finish in one.

I've only ever been first on the Friday sales.

I know this is my weak spot! :)
 
As a lefty I stayed out of this one today. Only five to go around...and right-hander's deservedly so should get 'em.

Interesting on the 5 character rule, didn't know. Although I guess that the minimal response would be
want1 or take1 or one4me, inon1....something like that. will probably see more of these pastes on the next go round.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: wonder if a digital space works, then might get....?

real surprised when I briefly saw that, pop. It's all about working the game. the auto refresh apps are interesting but you have to work your "manual" refresh rate down to the amount that you can stop it and get your pointer down to your response, and paste it speed. then time it to your refresh speed.
Wish the edc had a pre-order already...my 60 year old heart with one stent got a work out a few weeks ago when I tried my luck on a survive-monday.
