20 inch 41 ounce Ang Khola by old Sher Kami. Nice blade. Small hairline crack in horn handle, scabbard, Karda and Chakma are missing. Steel cost at $65. *SOLD*

12 inch 16 ounce Vojpuri Bowie by RajKumar. Horn handle. Ten minutes worth of rust removal time on blade makes it perfect Knife. Yours for $55. *SOLD*

Some great deals here, like the Vojpuri Bowie. The blade shape of Tirtha Kami's Foxy Folly looks a bit different though? And it has an extra tool?

Though I have to say, but for the hidden tang, I would have sworn this is not a Foxy but a YCS (blade tip shape pointing up, larger blade belly, less curvature, Shiva's sword, 3 tools...). I hope the rust didn't pit the blade! And I hope we see more of these Tirtha-made FF/YCS in the future at 27oz. weight as I have always been bothered by the relatively heavy weight of the regular Chiruwa YCS.

To me more than a FF it looks like a YCS without the decorations.:thumbup:

It even has the YCS Awl.

I didn't get the FF "long gone"

My feeling was the same, more YCS than FF

Nice weight too, ohhh well
 
My lovely girlfriend got me a Vojpuri Bowie a while ago and, trust me, it is a good buy. RajKumar (the Prince) is the next Bura/Sgt K., in my opinion, though Tirtha is giving him a run for his money. This would make a terrific little fighter with the vicious clip point, and is far less intimidating to have on one's belt than a longer kuk. Just watch out for your state/local knife laws that would call it a "dirk or dagger" and thus require open carry at all times or prohibit it altogether perhaps. Some cops unaware of their own laws might freak out on you and overreact because of the purpose-driven blade shape.
The one complaint I could possibly raise is the lack of a lanyard hole; but that's just me, and I am sure one could think of a mod to fix that.
 
It is becoming increasingly disturbing to miss every DOTD, working at a place with restricted internet access! All deals vanish by quittin' time. So sad...

ETA: Though it's a bit irrelevant with a par time of ~15 min!! :eek:
