Fix the sheath rattle?

So I was melting down my BK14 sheaths and it caught on fire! Did I have the temp too high?

I stuffed the BK14 sheath with some lint and the rattle is gone and it is very tight now.

Belly button lint works the best.

If you feel comfortable working with kydex you can just re-heat part of the sheath and compress it to make it tighter. The only catch is the tighter the sheath the more prone to scratching the blade it will be.
