Thanks. I went to Lone Wolf's website and found the William W. Harsey knives. There are several differant models. The closet I could find that matches Craft's is a T-2 tactical with micarta handles.
They are located in Willsonville OR which is close to Portland Or. I wonder if they will be at Blade West? I would like to get a closer look at their knives.

Mine is a loneWolf Tactical folder with micarta handles. In the new line it's called a T3. The micarta handles on the big knives were limited editions. As you can see in the picture it's a huge folder. The liners and lockbar are substantial. This one also came sharper than any Spydie I have![]()
The Microtech is indeed a MTX2. The one pictured has titanium bolsters and carbonfiber handles, stonewash blade. It also features the a dual assisted D/A opening.
I also have a Manual M/A MTX2 with satin blade, titanium bolsters and green micarta handles. From an aesthetic point of view I find the MTX2 the most beautiful folder in my collection. Like the SFNO the MTX2 is a beauty and hard to find (that's why I coupled these two)!!
So what Busse would you pair my favorite folder with?......

Jackhammer, for sure. Preferably muddy micarta and a black blade, or something similar. Interesting blade shape on that Strider.

Thanks for the info. I saw the T3 on their website but none with micarta so I was making an educated guess.
How do you like it? If someone was thinking of buying one would your recommend it or point them in a different direction? A Sebenza, Hinderer, etc... are currently out of my price range but a top end Benchmade etc... is within my reach. Lone Wolf has lower prices than most of the high end knives I have seen. I would like to find out more and hear from anyone that has one of these knives.
I'm not a big fan of the Strider design aesthetic, but that is one of the more interesting ones. It looks very much like some of the Spydercos I've seen.
Hey Crafft,
That Microtech is a liner-lock, huh? That puts it out of consideration for me, but it IS nice looking.
I'd suggest a T-2 or T-3 both are great knives. My T-3 is a safe queen so I don't realy know how it would perform in the field. I used my T-2 and it's a great quality folder for the money. The T-3 is exactly the same on a bigger scale so that must be a great knife as well. Out of the box sharpness is excellent on these LoneWolfs. They came sharper than my Spydies...
I once read this story on the Internet that a paramedic amputated a leg of a crashvictim with his T-3 because in all the hurry to get to the crashscene he forgot his medcase and the only thing availlable was his T3 he carried. Don't know if this is true but it's a nice story...
