How's the balance in hand? Does it need a rear bolster for balance?

Lol, I never get this lucky. This is my lucky day!

On my finger, it balances just in front of the front pin in the handle, in the direction of the front bolster. A normal 110 balances behind that pin by about a half inch, close to the center of the handle. So, this knife feels more balanced overall and because of that I think it would be better at tasks that require a little more finesse. Without the rear bolster, it is lighter overall.

Edit: This knife reminds me of the 113 which I use in the kitchen a lot. I plan to use this 110 fixed blade in the kitchen too, for cutting vegetables and fruit, etc.

The sheath is nice. It's a quality sheath. I think brown would have looked better, but I do like the flap. It's my first flap and I like the way it flops.







 
What is a "kick"? I searched the net with no luck. Lots of kickstarter campaigns for knife inventions and videos of guys kicking knives.
 
I don't have one but would like to make a sheath. Is it same size as a 110 opened up?

It is the bump on the bottom/blade side of the tang. It's purpose on a folding knife is to keep the edge from hitting the bottom of the blade well.

On this knife and the 110, it sort of looks triangular.

I love green peppers and it's been a good year for them in my garden. This Buck 110 fixed blade has been a great addition and perfect for the job! Very agile, very sharp. Easy to clean. It can do it all.
