Fixed Blade Advice

Hello all. New here, so apologies if I am posting in the wrong area.
I've got about $200 to spend on a small EDC fixed blade. I do a lot of greenwood carving, so blade shape is important (not too deep, not too thick) I am considering the BRK Little Carver, but are there other marks or makers that I should consider? Many thanks for your help!

I would try posting this in the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades subforum. Maybe a mod will move it for you on request. Until then, I would look at LT Wright, Fiddle Back Forge, and Arno Bernard.
