It is not too late, still early, go back and get a small fixed blade, I know you have many. You will have peace of mind.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I dont . The Pohl force has the roto-lock which works well. Worst case I have my Roselli axe in the truck.

Its a neat little blade. I should really carry it more. Its comfy, razor sharp & not too scary!! Solid knives from either maker. I prefer BHK, I see them every year at a show I go to!
