Fixed Blade Bugout (-ish)?

I know Benchmade doesn't make a fixed blade version of the Bugout. I'm looking for something that could act like it.

Thin and light, obviously, with a spear-point blade, and just a hint of belly in the handle.

I guess a bespoke design would get me exactly what I'm looking for, I just wonder if there are production options that would check the boxes. Pictures are always welcome!

I'd have a look around at some of the production versions of the Kephart design, personally. Most will have some handle swell even though the originals don't, and while the blade shape isn't exact it's in the same ballpark and should do the same jobs.

How about the coming soon Civivi Elementum fixed blade? I think in terms of looks, it comes pretty close.

If you're just looking for something light and thin, try the white river backpacker. If a thicker handle is okay, try the bark river featherweight fox river...its a beautiful little knife.

I'll edit if I think of more :)

Well, the Boker Plus Lucas Burnley Cub Pro is kinda Bugout-ish. I like the Micarta they offer on it.

The LionSteel B35 Bushcraft is in there too... can you tell I got a thing for Micarta? It's a bit more change, but if you like Sleipner steel you won't mind.

ESEE makes a little Xancudo fixed blade in S35VN that's right in the price range of the LionSteel. Pretty cool little piece.

The Boker and the LionSteel are a shade under 5 ounces, and the ESEE is a tad under the 4 oz mark. Not as light as the Bugout by any stretch, but close for a Fixie.

Benchmade did make a dandy little FB in D2 a while back. I'd like to see something similar in better steel.

I feel like it's worth mentioning that I kinda broke some of my original requirements (the part about "production" because this is more of a custom or mid-tech), but it's a pretty close match for size and shape.

The Fiddleback Bushnub.

Cost and availability are substantial barriers, but it's nice to know that there is something pretty close to what I'm looking for.

I would recommend the GEC fixed blade, especially the H10118. It got 5/64 tang(2mm) which is rather thin for fixed blade, blade shape and false edge loosely resembling Bugout blade shape, full tang and most important of all, very lightweight at 2.36oz.

Among other Tools (Machete/Japan made SOG "Seal Pup", Glock folding Shovel, etc.) I have a (Modified by Jarrod of H&B Forge) BIG ol' NICHOLS BROS "LAMB SPLITTER". It's AWESOME!
Looks something like this :

HARDBALL

D DMG beat me to it. The Benchmade Altitute is about as close as you're gonna get to a fixed blade bugout without making a direct copy yourself. It's pretty much a direct translation; the blade is dang near identical in size and shape, and also better steel with the s90v. I'd have one in the collection but for some reason everytime I see the price I find myself unable to pay over $200 for it lol

I like them but it is a lot of coin for a tiny knife with no handle that would do the same thing as my white River backpacker.
