Hi Lisa,

Is the hexoganal end cap (shown on the Aviator) a distinguishing feature of the South African produced models?
Do you happen to know know if the hex cap is interchangeable (same thread pitch / diameter) with the end cap of CRK fixed blades made in the USA?

I believe the hexagonal cap is just on the SA made, but uncertain. I don't want to try the one on the other for fear of striping it in case it doesn't work.

I really like the appearance of the hex end cap; I recently had an opportunity to buy one from S/A, but I declined because I didn't know if it would fit my MK 6.
