Fixed Blade Concealment?

I have a fixed blade or two I would really like to carry. However the standard Belt sheath method isn't a good option for me as I often go without a belt. I am very interested in possibly getting my first rig, however its summer time and I don't see a method to utilize one with just a T-shirt and shorts. Any suggestions?? I use a paddle holster for my primary firearm so I can just put it on and take it off and it’s very convenient. Maybe I need a Kydex paddle sheath??

I mean, this is Toronto we're talking about, right?

You're right, I should wear my Strider instead! :p

Hey Bad Guy...

What you are looking for is a kydex or synthetic sheath with a G-clip...

Similar to what a paddle will do...

A lot of people carry fixed blades of all sizes, concealed, on a daily basis. Any of the better sheathmakers can tailor a rig to your particular circumstances. IWB with "G" clip, soft loop, or belt stud, has the widest range of applications, and can be used strongside or crossdraw with speed. Shoulder rigs are good with enough clothing, but tend to print under lighter material or while seated, plus they also restrict full movement and can be "interesting" when resheathing if carried on the back. A good system should let you carry blades, even in the 10" range, comfortably concealed while seated, and still be fast deploying.
