Fixed blade dilemma

After much hand wringing and enough research to make myself crazy I finally placed an order for a fixed blade. I looked at Busse and Bark River, Falknivian as well as a number of custom makers and I finally decided on a Fehrman Last Chance. I wanted to buy a sturdy fixed that would last a lifetime.

I guess it will be a few weeks before I get to see if I made the right decision.

Anything by those companies would meet the bill. It's really a matter of what you like best in looks and comfort and materials and how well it works for you.
 
From my experience with Fehrman's you will NOT be disappointed with your decision :)
