Fixed blade EDC.

Thanks but I am fully sold with esee and their quality. It will be the 3 or 4. Just looking for some input on those 2 knives.

Fixed edc. Isn't Arizona great?

It sure is! You forgot concealed also. I have a 4 I carry horizontal/crossdraw on my belt and it works perfect. How are you planning on carrying it?

Actually cross from the waist as well. Sounds like I have to pick the 4. Now I have to find a deal, can't pay 100+ right now. Paid 45 for the izzi 2.

Mine is plain edge, I like them either full serrations or plain edge. I have a friend that has a partially serrated 3. What part of AZ are you in? If you are close you can check out my 4. I am in Mesa

Big ESEE fan, however if you got a few spare dollar bills check out a cold steel pendelton lite.. I think I paid 13 for mine and its a great blade that I don't have to stress about screwing up or losing in the woods.

13.99 on the river site, incredible value

If you can add the money, the best choice is handmade EDC knives, not only the steel but the shapes and the way you use will be chose easily. You know a good knife can be used whole life.

Well I ended up ordering a venom green esee 3.
4 was slightly too big for me to edc with unless I lived a bit further out. 3 seemed the perfect compromise between compact and capability. It will be here tomorrow, isn't amazon great?

of the 2? Izula! You cant beat Esee warranty, that on top of a great product its a win win.

If you are looking at the 3 vs 4, these are the things to consider: the 3 has a shorter blade (duh!) but it is also 1/8" thick. IIRC, the 4 is 3/16" thick... So the 4 is slightly longer, but thicker as well. If you want a great slicer, go with the 3, since it's thinner. If you want a brute-tough knife that will handle a lot of punishment, go with the 4.

However, at that price point, I would highly suggest you take a look at scrapyard knives. I have a SYKCO 311 and it is hell for stout. It does anything I need a small knife to do, and it performs like a little bit larger knife. You can really beat the crap out of them. The steel is remarkably tough, they take and hold a screaming sharp edge, and they are very lightweight... Just something to consider.

I love Esee knives, but if I was spending that amount of money, scrapyard would get my vote.

Ohhhh, well I see you went with the Esee 3. Good choice! Congrats!

Might want to give scrapyard a look in the future. Also swamp rat knives. And Busse combat... Any bussekin are worth checking out.

Here she is and she's PERFECTION!

Great tree trimmer for natures best medicine. :D

I like carrying my Izula.

Nice size for everyday tasks but doesn't draw attention. Well maybe one in VG

The 3 is just perfect for big city edc. The venom green makes it a little less threatening in public plus I can't lose it.
