Fixed blade EDC

Of the Moran knives, the street beat is full tang IIRC. Been down this road, get a handle that just fits a 4 finger grip. Any larger and you are forced to conceal too much knife. Check out the customs section.
 
Street beat is a Perrin design, not a Moran. Really a fighting, defense design. Would not be my edc choice but a nice piece. Russ
 
Probably, I need to try some setups -- Bill Moran, Street Bowie, ESEE3, something from BRKT. And I need kydex.
 
I carry this scout style, on my left side--almost across the top of my left hand pocket (jeans)--and draw with my right. Since I've been doing so, I have had no occasion to pull a folder. While it is not ideal for some more strenuous tasks because of its size, it is more than adequate for getting most jobs done. I'm taking advantage of being in a place I can legally carry this for edc--once back home, it is back to folders. So, if not on my belt, it is in a leather pocket sheath--when my pockets are nice and deep. Kydex by 710; leather by Skystorm (not in pic). Here it is, a BK14 with ipe scales by tommythewho...
