Fixed Blade & Folder Combo

Hello Retired UPS Driver Retired UPS Driver
He made quite a combo with that duo,,, impressive!
@Zeroedin :thumbsup:
Great way to start off, a grand entrance for sure. I like all the new recent activity that’s coming here too.

That Dexter I posted yesterday used to be my Grandfathers daily kitchen knife. I have such good memories of him always using it on the yellow Formica kitchen table to slice up the cured pork belly for frying. I too use it now in the kitchen every chance I can, each time I hold it I get such a big grin on my face knowing he’s looking down and watching over us.

Have a great weekend buddy and I’ll see you again soon.

Was out doing yard work with- Swamp Rat Battle Rat, Joe Watson Magni and my para 2 tanto...

Im sure you’re taking good care of it too.

The recent activity in this thread is welcome wholeheartedly. It’s very satisfactory to see lots of interesting knives being shared here.

You have a nice weekend my dear friend.
See you soon,
Aryan

Here is a hidden tang "puko" in 15n20. The steel stock was .07. So it is pretty thin and slicey.

The handle is burned hickory and the end caps or "bolsters" are 15n20, held in position by small 15n20 nails i made out of scrap (and epoxy). The tang is also peened over the end cap.

Its the first hidden tang, and first knife out of this steel I've made (4th knife made).
