Fixed Blade & Folder Combo

I now see the way the OP wrote his original question. After seeing others pics, wished I knew how to do the pics part and yes I've heard read how to, I'm a pooter' dummy. Everyday I carry a 5lb. (if it's empty - and mine is far from empty) - a "Saddleback Leather Co. bag". I ALWAYS have my HEST Fixed Blade in its Kydex Sheath tucked right in the front. When I'm in the car or truck the Kydex and Knife come outta the bag and is fixed to the drivers side door. That is really the only fixed blade I own and actually THAT was the knife that got me all started, when I saw a pic of it on the front page of one of my knife mags along with RYP's great writing style he had me hooked, and that knife DOES DO everything he claimed it to do. I've whittled like a nut with that little piece, made me a nice lean to shelter with it, and with the ROWEN heat treat - really enough is said right there. As for folders, I actually had a doctor that brought it up from my arm/hand surgery. Not bad for a doctor. :0) "Hey Honey, the doctor told me that this knife on page #67 would do wonders for the nerve damage in my arm". And the answer is "NO" - I haven't tried to pull that off, I'd start laughing by the 7th word and she's no dummie. :0)

Greetings,
Your description of the knives is very interesting, please feel free, I am sure we will be seeing the pics soon. This thread is a medium paced one, where all feel at peace while we see each other’s combos and exchange compliments.
Many Thanks

I own a combination slip joint and a locking 'part'- basically a small liner lock. It is an "Imperial" made in Ireland and is stainless.
The handle is 3 6/8" - With the bale extended it is 4 1/8"
The "large blade" is 2 6/8" - the last of that is 6/16" that includes the sharpening choil and saying 3 words. One over the other etc. saying "Imperial/Ireland/Stainless". That part of the knife is a slip joint. OAL is 6 5/8" with the bale up. Then there is the locking piece, meant for like electrical work or whatever you choose to do with it. I have the one side that can be - - sharpened like a razor - it's barely a 1/16" longer than the knife. I filed and dremeled the tip perfect flat for a screw driver maybe or to pick at or scrape with. Both of them have nail nicks. There is a piece of metal that separates the two that measures 1 1/8" and has the word 'PRESS' in red on it. That part of metal that says 'PRESS' keeps that piece that is combo knife/screw driver/ scraper etc. in a firmly locked position without a hint of wobble. A liner lock really. The handle is all black. Super sharp and serves its purpose along with my BOKER Tree Brand 492 - 2 blades - all slip joints.

Today I have Buck102 with GEC#15, two very simple knives, yet very practical.

Super picture. Mine has the serrations also and I really didn't want them. Mistake on their end. I've often pictured that piece minus the serrations in a wharnie pattern with the heat treat being destroyed.
Mr. PoS, I couldn't figure out how to message you but if you have a HEST combo edge and prefer a plain edge, perhaps we can do a trade as I am on the flip side of your situation.
