I agree that most belt sheaths suck when you're wearing a vest. However, spec ops brand does have a line of MOLLE compatible sheaths. Solid stuff too.

I got my SRK with the kydex sheeth from www.wholesalehunter.com for $48. It is great knife for the price, and lighter weight than other that size which I really like for backcountry travel.

i sent my little brother in with a tops moccasin ranger, and just like everybody seems to suspect he only NEEDED it once. however, he did have it to play with, lone to people who also had sudden need for a knife with heft, and he got to keep that little bit of extra security just in case.
he's a medic so he only gets a handgun.

in case you're wondering he used it to remove a buddies bdu pants after he had been hit with shrapnel.

back on topic. i, personaly, think the handle on the seal pup is a trifle too small, and i don't have exceptionaly large hands.
i also own an srk, which was one of the first decent knives i bought. i purchased it at around 17 or so and it's been going strong for around a decade now (can that be right!!!!!!! man, i must be getting old) it's taken it's share of crap with pleasure. like those new sheaths.

Hmm Molle ? Guess you guys up in the Green zone get all the stuff. ;) Down here in Ar Ramadi I have yet to see anyone with the Molle system. Everyone here attaches stuff directly to the Body Armour. Might check to see if his unit actually has the MOLLE system before you commit to buying something that only attaches to it.

For what it's worth :
I carry a Benchmade 145HSSR on my BodyArmour, carry a Benchmade 9053 on my right side, a leatherman on the left. Been here since Feb, havn't used the fixed blade at all. The BM 9053 gets all the use.
 
Actually you don't have to have the actual molle system to use it. It's all 1 inch webbed so you could attach any molle compatible stuff directly to your Intercepter vest.

Just passing it along.
 
d_clark, no MOLLE? I have yet to see anybody here or in Kuwait that did'nt have it. We got it RFI'd almost a year ago. What kind of unit are you in? Airforce or something? :D
