Fixed Blade For Inside-Waistband Carry

My favorite IWB fixed blade is the Bill Moran drop point from syderco. Excellent quality with great blade steel. The G-clip makes for a comfortable IWB carry if you tip the blade backwards on hole when installing it.

If you're willing to pay just a bit more, the Gryphon M-10 form Cutlery Shoppe is hard to beat. Comes with both IWB loop and Spyderco G-clip. I've got a couple.

I found an american kami fixed blade i like, i may just save up for it and toss the budget haha

LOL! :D

I wear my Boker Plus Tom Krein Pocket Bowie IWB and tethered to my belt with a short paracord loop. This means that the sheath is actually OWB when the knife is unsheathed, which makes it safer as well as making it easier to re-sheath.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm just curious - when I carry IWB, my um, midsection tends to press up around the rig - I'm not as svelt as I used to be, but I wouldn't call myself "fat" either. I could easily slice myself if drawing the blade quickly. Do any of you run into this problem? Are there any set-ups that address this?

Jordan

"Set-ups" won't address your problem but sit-ups will!

Is it the Colubris mid-tech? I have one and its Great. DJ is great to deal with too. Look up his video on youtube for concealed carry. If you order send a couple of extra $$ and have him set up the sheath w the paracord n cord lock. You can't go wrong and it feels great in your hand!

Yes it is. I saw the blade and fell in love with it.

Get some quality training as well, and an aluminum version of the blade your planning on carrying.

Here's one I made...
