Hey guys,

We are currently deciding on which fixed blade model to make next. We've narrowed it down to 3 models. The CQC-8, CQC-15 or The Government Mule.

Vote now!

Thanks!

I voted for the 15. I think it has a more distinctively Emerson blade profile than the Gov't Mule. The Horseman/8 blade shape lends itself more to folders in my opinion, and makes for a lower-profile and sleeker carry when closed. Not so much a concern for a fixed blade. How big were you guys thinking?

Haven't gotten that far as size goes. I think the size of the Standard 15 as it is for a fixed blade. A tad bigger would be ok too actually. Almost a Super 15.

Of the available choices, I voted for the CQC-15. It was my first Emerson and I like the design. That being said I'm surprised a fixed blade Commander isn't on the list. Id love to see one of those.

I vote for the cqc-8. I love the folding version and it would be awesome to get the fixed version

I voted for the 15. That blade is just really cool looking and I believe it would make a great fixed blade knife.

Take the super 8 and hit it with a dose of radiation and the fixed blade therapy!

Of the choices, I'd pick the CQC-8, although the CQC-10 is my favorite. But why redo something you've already done? I've got an 8, 10 & 15, a fixed blade doesn't get me anything I don't already have, it's not like my folders will fail me. Go new, go different.

I voted 15... But I would have went with the 13 given the opportunity. Looking forward to the finished product!

COMMANDER... You have to have one of the ALL TIME Emerson classics as a fixed blade.

What are you and Ernie drinking REP that you don't include the former knife of the year ... I wouldn't mind drinking some of that myself :D

Given the choices though I'm going to be the odd man out and vote Gov. Mule

I voted 8. I hope this run is to gauge fixed blade interest and will affect more variety in the future. If set at a reasonable price point I think they could be very competitive. HD7, Commander, 10, a giant machete sized Journeymen. One can dream.
