I am looking for a nice fixed blade krambit I will carry it for self defense and random cutting tasks I would like to have a sheath that can be hung from the shoulder and concealed easily I don't want some taticol piece of crap but I have a price range of 50$ I want the blade to be 3 in or under

There's no "not tactical looking pos" for your price range. To meet your requirements your looking at between 2-4x your price at least.

For <$50 your looking at budk / china knock-off crap.

Sorry, there really aren't any good karambits at that price point. Like, literally, none. The cheapest decent fixed blade karambit is the Cold Steel "Steel Tiger", which is both more expensive than you want($80 or so) and bigger than you want(5.5 inch blade).

The Fox Knives KuKu Hanuman is a fixed karambit with a 3in blade, the downside though is that it is as stated above about 4-5x your preferred price. I own one and I believe that it is worth every penny.

As several people already pointed out, there aren't many fixed blade kerambit options from good brands out there and those available are expensive. I'd recommend saving up for a Fox or Emerson. Both are very good.

this... and very thin tip might i add.

Unless you have specific training with a Kerambit, I'd recommend the Kabar TDI knives. Somewhat similar in shape to a kerambit, but obviously different. It also comes with a sheathe that has some different options available.

yep, it's been said, up your price point and get some quality

Fox Knives Karambit, this little guy, not fixed but comes with the original wave feature for super fast deployment

Ok I am turning 13 soon (why my budget is low) so let's hope I get lots of money on my birthday but it has to be fixed blade and the blade HAS to be 3in or under and I would prefer a shoulder sheath but if I have to I can get a custom one.

I see you have asked for a recommendation of about every category of knife. Have you bought any?
A knife primarily for self defense is a bad idea, especially since your 13. Most states don't let you even carry a knife for self defense. I would recommend you read your state laws and think twice about your self defense idea.

Wait. You're 13!? Ok, I'm just going to say it. A 13 year old claiming to need a kerambit for self defense in a specialized undercover operative sheath comes off as a kid who's been playing too much Splinter Cell Blacklist. I mean, come on now. I'm out of here. Hope you enjoy whatever juvenile facilities your local police department has, since that's where you're going when you get caught with a concealed weapon.

Edited to add: there are multiple other early teens on this board who seem to have a level head on their shoulders. You'll notice they aren't talking about needing a movie/video game combat knife for self defense. If you're a kid who has actual self-defense needs, it's time to tell an adult, or else it's time to stop taking that shortcut down Crackhead Alley to get home after school every day.

Carrying a self defense oriented fixed blade, concealed no less, at 12 going on 13 is not something I'd advise in any way.

It'll more likely get you into trouble then ever actually help you out of it.

Nothing wrong with carrying a knife at age 13, as long as it's legal. Lots of thugs out there, be safe brother.

It is legal if I have a blade 3" or under for anyone to conceal I carry a knife everyday and still haven't had anything bad happen. And what's wrong with a kid who likes knives

I live in MO where the knife laws here are very open. I can walk down the street with a sword on my back and get some wierd looks but its legal.

Do you have any training in any of the martial arts that use a kerambit? If not, you're being a 12 year old mall ninja who has played too much Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I'll stand by that all day long. I have no issue with a 12 year old carrying a pocket knife, but a weapon designed for self-defense? No. There's no such thing in my mind as an "almost 13 year old" who has the mental capacity or understanding to understand the ramifications of carrying a concealed weapon. Sorry.

Let me ask you this, are your parents cool with you carrying around a fighting knife on your person? Do you plan to carry it at school? Oh man, I do hope your answer is yes.

My parents know I'm into knives and wouldn't mind much. But really carrying it at school? Who would do that.

At 12-13 you shouldn't be in environments where there are 'thugs' that can be a potential threat to your life. And if you are in a somewhat sketchy area you should be with an adult, you're only 12!

Nothing wrong with a kid that's into knives, I was too as a child and carried a Swiss Army knife everywhere. The part that's the issue is carrying for the purpose of self defense with a kerambit at age 12/13.

Have you talked to your parents about you feeling the need to carry a knife for self defense?

Interesting:

"(12) "Knife", any dagger, dirk, stiletto, or bladed hand instrument that is readily capable of inflicting serious physical injury or death by cutting or stabbing a person. For purposes of this chapter, "knife" does not include any ordinary pocketknife with no blade more than four inches in length"

"Very open", eh? I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play on TV, but this tells me that you getting caught with a kerambit is going to be an issue. But hey, you are clearly pre-law, so I say go for it.
