Kurt Meerdink is a custom knife maker whose fixed blade offerings are very reasonable - and you get as perfectly made beautiful knives as you can imagine. He has a three-finger fighter which is 6" overall length; can be had in a variety of blade shapes and scale materials. I happen to have on on sale in new condition. Brand new ones can be had from BladeArt or JT Knives.
This is the type of knife that gives you an excellent grip on it - and if you withdraw it from your pocket, shouldn't give nary a problem to onlookers, as the appearance is non-threatening and that of an average folder - who's to know whether it is or not if you casually whip it out, do a cutting shore, then resheath; all this can be from your front pocket, for instance.
The sheath is kydex and is multiwear on belt and can also be converted to neck carry. Meerdink is a nice man and had learned a lot of his craft working for Bud Nealy.
