Fixed blade

Stomper is running an April Special on his Hiker. Only 100 bucks. Can't beat it, I've got one on order. I've got a couple of his knives already and I love them. Can't go wrong. And what's great about John is that if you just tell him "I can't decide, you figure something out", he will.

He'll do a convex grind as well if you ask.

I think I'll order one just because. Do I place the order through his web site or???

Pitdog, love the scrapyard but how do I get one? I have tried a few times to get them direct but they just tell me they don't have any knives for sale. :grumpy:

Kgd, nice bunch of knives ya got  that RC-6 if not this time around will one day be in my collection.

Hey knifenut1013 - you won't be disappointed with a JK. He makes really excellent quality knives with great fit and finish. I'd suggest taking a look at his website and careful look at his models. In the end, your not going to save so much money on the special, might as well spend an extra $30 and get the model you like best made to the specs you want.

I've handled many of his knives. I have a special fondness for his black mircata. It is very smooth and bombproof. He does lot of wood handled knives also, but I think the his mircata just really flows with the lines of his knives.

The best way to contact him is by e-mail from the address on his website. You can of course also post in his subforum area. Good luck and happy knife buying!

There are some Aurora Recurves available. A very versatile bushcraft knife.

Thanks to everyone, pitdog and Kgd especially my wallet it getting thinner but my smile is getting bigger. I have 2 JK's on order one of them being a #2 anniversary knife with a few slight changes. :D

You can't go wrong with many of the choices here. The sparky from breeden is one hell of a knife, and just happens to have a cool feature on it too. The RC-4 is a great choice.
