what steel is on the kabar fixed blade or what model is that?

The only thing stamped into the blade on the KA-BAR is "KA-BAR" and "Olean, NY". I do not know what the model number is or the steel type. I looked at the current fixed blades in production and none of them matched so I think this is a little bit older.
