Fixed Blades in NY

Are there any laws concerning the carry of fixed blade knives in New York City? Also id it legal, acceptable, to carry a concealed fixed blade knife for self defense? Thank you for your help.

New York City has a "4" law" but a fixed blade may come under a few other laws - depends on the circumstances.....BUT, you NEVER carry a blade for self-defense, do you? If you do, then it is a weapon. Carrying a conceled weapon is illegal in New York City. Clear?
