I too have eye balled ryans line of knives for a long time. Is it 80crv2? If I had an opportunity id have jumped on one. Nice score! Oh, that giant choil needs a choil.

Thanks bro! This one’s Nitro-V. First knife I’ve had with it. It has no problems staying sharp from what I’ve seen so far. I’m gonna beat it up and see how far she goes til she needs a stone.

The handle color is sweet. It’s called “black cherry” and the colors pop in person especially the way it’s machined.

Every giant choil needs a choil, so they can choil as they choil while they choil.

It's very you, I know your style, we have very similar taste in knives. I like what they did on this knife. Thehuntsmanco i think his forum name was did a long machete type knife some years back maybe 5 or 7 years? Anyway he did it in nitro v and I kick myself in the arse for not buying one because I really wanted one. Let me know how it compares to our usual steels in shaprening, edge retention, etc.

The Utsidihi is my favorite of the smaller RMJ blades. They nailed it.

Combine that with Da Choppa and you have a very capable duo.

I really want to get my hands on the Combat Africa.

I would like a 4 finger choil so I could eliminate the handle. Way shorter knife. How has no one thought of this?
