Fixed blades

Very familiar with his work. That a nice one you have. Great maker.
I had another fixed blade from him, it was similar to the busse TG.
My friend liked it so much I gifted it to him.

MLL is a great guy, these knives are one offs, basically you tell him whatever you want and he makes it, and gives you material size or any option you can think of. He makes kitchen knives too, I also got some for one of my exes, good knife.

More 5160 in the shape of mean
I know he burned quite a few people but he did make one hell of a great knife. This is the only one of his that I have. MEUK (Multi Environment Utility Knife) on the right:

I heard he started as an apprentice working for Mad Dog Kevin McClung. The one I have clearly shows the influence.

Those are both nice ! Definitely has a mad dog style to the blade / handle, bette though. Micarta for the win.

The folder looks about perfect. What is it ? Has a little Jeremy Robertson look to it.

The folder is a Ti frame lock called a Vesper. Made by Mark Varga. I won it here in a giveaway he hosted quite a while back. I’ve put it through its paces over the years and it’s held up very well. At this point it’s a highly snail trailed, nicely worn in companion. Very highly recommended.

I think he did some collaborations with Reate that are the same general idea.
