Fixed blades

There's too many cons associated with folding knives that fixed blades never share so for that reason I've always gravitated towards fixed blades for their strength and durability
Interesting to note, the first earliest recorded folding knives were used by the Hashashiin during the holy crusades
They wanted something they could conceal completely

Thanks for the piece of history!

I just went down a long, online rabbit hole reading about the Hashashiin and, from that, some of the intriguing statecraft and interesting personalities of the era.

The Hashashin were from the Holy Crusade era, about 1095AD and later. The earliest folding knife dates from about 500BC in what is now Austria. The Romans and the Iberians had folding knives that predated the Hashashin by well over 1000 years....

I agree....... The handle isn't perfect for me, But I haven't used/chopped/beat on a knife that is any better (so far at Any cost)
It almost makes me ANGRY that this knife is so good.
I waste so much money looking for more.....
