Slicking that leather really makes a difference.

Yes it does. I do it on every one. I think it makes an even bigger difference when tooling as it makes the leather more uniform.

Some times people prefer a lanyard hole more front facing on Choppers.

Not saying it Is that, but I'll do that too occasionally

Scott's larger knife patterns seem to have two holes for lanyards and his smaller knives have just one at the butt end of the handles.

That's a Bootlegger I got in trade a while back, it's an interesting knife, very thick behind the edge, but I got it so cheap, there's no reason to get rid of it. The Baja is fantastic, with a great sheath. I like the small fixed blades!

Oh that is right!
I think sometimes they call it a boolegger 2 or bootlegger ranger when it has the saw teeth on top like that.
I might have to look for a baja.

Just looked into it, they call it a “ranger bootlegger 2” on the tops website, but when you zoom in on the pics it just says “bootlegger” like your pic

Anyway, cool knife!
