Fixed blades

He is a Neapolitan Mastiff crossed with American Bulldog. When he gets fired up he’s probably more intimidating than any knife 🤣🤣

ETA: Best thread indeed.

I bet he is. If nothing else he gets everyone's attention giving you time to decide next action.
Sorry for the slight/narcissistic thread drift, Gents.

Me and my four buddies (*"Jack", "Zero", "Pseudoephedrine", and "Loratadine") have been fighting a vicious sinus headache for the last five hours.

Anyhow, a few of my buddies here know that I'm not much of "chopper" guy. When I do choose to abuse some camp wood, these three are my "most used" (*SK-85, 3V, and 5160, respectively).

Back to the fixies...

What is the middle knife?
Thanks

Who made the bottom one? It's my kind of knife in my kind of steel.

No worries. You're very welcome.

The Jimi Slash Competition Chopper is limited to 1000 produced, worldwide. It gives me vibes of the KTM 950 "Super Enduro". (*You can "Google" that)

When the 950 SE was being produced, KTM couldn't give them away. Once production ceased, and they were all gone, the second-hand market went through the ROOF. I think that the JS chopper is going to do the same.

Dayum, those are pricey. I will sit on the sidelines and drool 🤤

Yeah, no doubt. Even "On Sale", they ain't exactly cheap. (*Maybe keep an eye out at "Midway", if you ever find yourself interested)

As I understand it, they're a "Set it and Forget it" option for Bladesports. Is it a Keffeler? I would guess, "No". However, it isn't $3K-$5K either.

For me, in the land of "Mesquite" overrun Ranch roads and senderos, it's just 10", 315-thousandths, and almost two pounds of "full 'vex" 3V...and a very competent tool.

*
About a month ago, my Cousin and I ran up on a Ranch entrance that was blocked by a 6"-7" Mesquite limb. With one swing, my Cousin put mine about 80% thru it. Another half-ass swing, and that branch was laying on the deck.

Certainly sounds like a great chopper. I am on midway about once a week. I will check out the set it and forget.

Forget all that "chopping" stuff.

I'm too old, too tired, and too drunk for all that nonsense.

These days, I like me a lightweight/robust "field knife", small folding saw, tinder, and ferro/striker combo.

Your mileage may vary...

Aw, shucks. I'll take all those pesky choppers off of your tired old hands, wouldn't want you to slip and have an accident (in addition to breaking your hip). PM me for my address; once you ship to me all of your large, choppy knives I will send you the extra walker we keep on hand for my Oma. I'll even send some extra compression socks.

Will, you already have my address.

Despite that, I'll forward it again...if I can even REMEMBER it. 🫤
