Went to Winkler Actual (the store in Boone,NC) and saw this new limited edition. Put my Huntsman I was carrying for comparison. Sadly a new Winkler did not come home with me

Working on this batch. Bout a day from being done. The handles have been sanded to 220 grit. 400 then 600 to go:

How many knives ya think have passed over that work table to create such a patina?

For the aficionados. Can anyone name the Horsewright models represented here?

Mora Robust, Kelly Kettle and a little cast iron skillet came along in my pack for a nice lunch on a hike last week in Luxembourg.

Found a nice spot between some fallen trees to sit and set things up blocked from the wind.

Mora made some curls to get the fire started.

First flames

Oh yeah

Always scary but cool to look inside the burning kettle... keep some distance

Coffee's ready, heating up the skillet

Some veggy 'meat' looking tasty

Hmmm, ready to eat now

And continue our walk through some amazing scenery
