Update: it's Beautiful outside, 5pm. Happy Memorial Day Weekend...... I'm outside drinking beer, grilling burgers and fish on my charcoal grill.....

I need to test the ProCut steel, it's sorta new to me. Generally when I make people knives I do light testing on them and then clean them up to look good. I don't see that as sending off a used blade...
It's Still new, in My opinion as I'm the maker. I'm just verifying quality. Right?..... That's a question I've often had, I'm open to suggestions....

Anyhow. This is the Giver Away blade I plan on doing this year. Make sure you sign up for it.
It's FREE....... And it's going to be Used. Hahaha.
I just put on it's First edge. It usually takes me a few sessions to get my final edge. I'll stone this some more.

Being a Chopper I don't want it too acute.
I grind thinner and Sharper than most makers.
My knives just cut Better.
That's a "wood potato chip" from chopping!
Awesome.
When I do choppers it's harder for me to keep them obtuse. It's an internal struggle I have. :) This still cuts paper After my chopping today! I'm scared if I'm going to like/love this steel....

Dang man, might have to get a Reiff now, thanks.
The Gen 2 F6 has a few improvements over the Gen 1, instead of a skeletonized tang they just drilled a row of smaller holes and instead of a hollow grind it’s flat. Reiff knives don’t seem to hold value on the secondary market.. you’ll find one cheap πŸ‘
