Curious if anyone carries around fixed blades as an EDC. Share some pictures of them! When I work in my yard or going to the woods, I bring a gerber moment. Very good quality and yet if I lose it I won't be as upset because of the price. Better than losing my 119

I know lots of people hate gerber but this is a great durable tool in my opinion

If I do edc a fixed blade it is this one that matches my edc folder.
They are both Alan Davis Customs made to my specs!!

I just ordered my first fixed blade, a Guardian 3 in Patriot blue with 3v. It will be an EDC.

This little Anza has been with me since I bought it at a swap meet around 1983. It often drops into a front pocket. Sometimes I will do the same thing with a Mora 612; the cheesy sheath at least keeps it from cutting a hole in my pocket.

I don't EDC it as much as my folders, but that's mostly because I just like some of the folders more... but this little guy is about as large a fixed blade as I want to carry around with me, and I have it specifically for environments where a knife clipped to the pocket is liable to get lost, and a knife in the pocket (like a Case or Vic) is just too inconvenient to use.
