The reason I did name names was it became apparent that there would be no resolution unless I did so. Anyway, I'm glad I did.

No, you're right, Sangkala, "fear" wasn't really the proper term, that's why I enclosed it in quotation marks. Concern....probably would've been better. In any event, nobody's going to impune the reputation of a good knifemaker (like Fiddleback Knives) with a complaint about a proud pin.

I returned it for credit today. Not sure what to get now. I'm thinking a Fallkniven F1 for about $50 more ($250). Or maybe the same model (Recluse) in Bamboo. Does Bamboo have stability problems?

I bought it during the Christmas special so I will get the same discount on the same priced knife. Any thoughts?
