Ok so I recently aquired an old 60,s era mint condition hen and rooster stockman. Great k ice but the main clip blade is bent about .25 inches from the tip to the left. I know I could put it in a vice and slowely bend it but it has a fine tip and well... I'm just not comfortable with the possibility of breaking it what would you guys do? Have Ny ides who would be able to fix it for a reasonable cost? Or a safer way to fix it?

If you are keeping the knife for its value, i would say leave it as it is. If you want to carry and use the knife, yes trying to bend it back it is most likely going to snap. If you are not comfortable with regrinding it yourself, i would contact Hen and Rooster and see what they say. They may be able to replace the blade completely which is the best option. Also i believe they have a lifetime guaranty so you may get lucky and have it fixed free of charge :-) Hers their number and good luck!

The "new" Hen & Rooster is not the same company as the Bertram cutlery company. They don't even make knives-they just own the name.
You can probably bend the tip back, if you are careful. At least, you can lessen the damage.

Don't try to bend the blade back unless you heat it to 400 F.

Tricky to do with a thin blade, and your time window to straighten it will only be a few seconds. A drop of oil on the blade should burn off at around 400 F, I would use a candle or lighter to heat it, anything more and it would be very easy to over-heat it.
