If anyone has any info on fixing threaded holes on an ultratech or any alum handle knife please chime in... This isn't my first time owning an alum handled knife. And I somehow stripped out two maybe three of the threads on handle without a tri wing tool....? I noticed that they were loose when they backed themselves out with normal use. I spun them back in with a paper clip in one of the three holes...and they just keep spinning..weird. Pretty sure i Can't send it back because they'll blame it on me and not wrty it...even though I'm 99% positive they were stripped when I received it but I can't prove it. So, help please!

try sending them an email explaining what happened. maybe they will send you a replacement or have you send the knife back in. if you have to fix it yourself you might have to go with oversize screws and retap the holes.

Just get a #2X56TPI Helicoil kit from somebody like Traver's and redo the female threads with stainless steel thread coils.

^ That. If you can't get the knife replaced by the maker, helicoils are the way to go in aluminum if you've got room for the oversize holes.
