SUCCESS! After putting in several hours out in the field this season I finally managed to land me a nice blacktail (yes I know, nothing compared to the monster whitetails most of you guys have in your states) but what a great evening yesterday! The blurry brown thing along the bottom of the photo is actually the top of the Stubben....it makes a great camera rest! I'm glad I had it too because I wouldn't have been able to get a photo any other way because of the tall grass. Not the best pic but hey better than nothing! The second photo was taken by my friend who showed up later to help me skin out the buck. I am a happy hunter for sure and I feel like this thread has come full circle now lol.
