Hello BF, Selling x1 FK3 D3V today:
1) FK3 D3V with ECAM Scales and ‘Gold’ Torx bolts + Pirtle Sheath w/ MDL + Extras — asking $OLD
- Original owner, straight from the mothership! Trying to recoup most of what I paid — selling to free up some $$ for other treasures from Team Carothers…
- Used to cut some paper at one point, carried 1-2 times when I first got it. Then, it has been stored in the safe.
- Kydex has some scuffing where I tried to adjust tension after heating it
- Minor blemishes on the stonewashed face and along the thumb ramp, but it is hard to capture those in the photos
- Scales included: ECAM (currently what the FK3 is wearing), crusty VIP Micarta (from sometime last year, the carmel colored ones), then I ordered some more crusty VIP micarta from later in the year, too. Incredible range of colors and personality!
- Hardware included: Gold Torx (currently on the FK3), Blurple Torx (a bit snug when using fingers, but a tiny bit of pressure with the tools and it is good to go), then standard shiny bolts (not Torx)
- Taco Kydex with Ulti clip (couldn’t get the tension precisely right, but it is there for storage and works fine)
- Pirtle sheath - olive overlay and black English bridle leather + paid extra for a MDL of English bridle leather (Modular Drop Loop, I think?), absolutely perfect and great retention. I don’t store the knife in the leather sheath so it is snug as a bug in a rug.
