Damn... I miss my Cherokee. If I could'a just kept a front end under her, I'd still have her. The Liberty is nice... and tough. But I miss that Cherokee.

did a little knapping... enjoyed working under my lean-to in the rain...

you can see the knife coming along in the bottom of this pic... got about half way up before i snapped it.... and the flint broke my medium hammerstone.... should've brought the bigger one....

moved on to the second location... a great sloppy swamp on private land.... found a great waller and will be back when i have more time to hunt but was really feeling out the land this trip.....

ya i love that truck... pro comp lift kit and tires.... fronts need replacing and its gonna hurt... but doing the 4-wheeling it took to get through the swamp to second camp site just reminded me how much i love my truck....

What's the rifle? Looks like my model 1892, except the end cap on my forearm is not color case hardened like yours. What caliber? Mine is 45 LC but I don't think that would be a good hog round.

rifle is md1892 hartford (read as slicked up pretty emf) in .45colt.... im running 250gr golddots and inside 70yards it will more than do the job... there isnt enough vis for more than a 50 yrd shot in this nasty swamp.... and i like knowing i have 10 more in the gun... i run a .45acp as a sidearm when im bow hunting the porkers u just have to know where to put ur rounds... the "armor" is mostly myth as i've seen them laid low with *gasp* 9mm ball... not something i'd do, grins but i was behind a much bigger gun for that ride... u just have to work around the shoulder blade...

bag in the cup is green tea... i love my coffee but if im running light u cant beat the tea

critters are fuzz tails, and their livers, yum yum.. one head shot and one centermass... finaly broke out the camera during chow time...
