Yes and no.
Yes you can color steel and no it wont turn out quite like that. I believe those are titanium clips and handle material.
I've heat colored clips , screws , pivots and handles and most of them turn out the same , some a little diffrerent.
I use my stove top , making sure the piece to be colored is clean , the process is goldish at first to wheat/dark/brown/brown purplish. dependsing on how much you heat it , and it is not permanent but it till last a while.
