But I have a couple of ?????s

1). I just received my FSH with Snakeskin scales. Is there any job I might need of a fixed blade that this knife would not excel at?
2). I have seen the prices of the SHSH and the SH-II, is the SH-e expected to appreciate as much???
3). I just spent $400 on a wood inlay Sebbie...Why you ask???!!! Because I have no reason to believe that the FOLDER will be available in my lifetime!!Any Bladegoer's have any reason to believe otherwise?????

Thank you for your help.....Oink on!!!!!!!!!!!1

We haven't flamed anyone before, and from your post I don't see a reason to start now. :) I'll see if I can answer your questions...

1) I would say this is almost impossible to answer. There is an infinite number of uses for your new knife...which would make it impossible for someone to say there would "never" be a job for which the FSH would not excel.

2) The market will determine this over time. Personally I think it's way too soon to see the e-series appreciation values.

3) As for you spending $400 on a sebbie, congrats they are great knives! At the same time I don't see how purchasing a sebbie has anything to do with the Busse folder release? :) You wanted a sebbie...you bought a sebbie. If you want a Busse folder when it's released you'll buy one...if you don't want one then you won't buy one :D I didn't see or hear anything official about the Busse folder during my time around the booth. Putting aside the possibility of an early death caused by other Hogs I do believe it will be released in my lifetime ;)

Thanks DN, I was just venting a little over my frustration concerning the folder. I know (everyone knows) it will be an awesome, indestructible, nuclear, etc, knife, but I guess I just hate spending money on other brands (I have three Sebbies) when I know the Busse folder will be second to none.!!! Have fun at eh show! :D

I don't think I'd like to fillet a fish, or peal a carrot, with my FSH, but it should do most other things pretty well.

I'm about to get a large Classic Sebenza with micarta inlay. If the Busse folder ever becomes a purchasable reality I'll get one of those too.
