More American Black Walnut from Missouri. Only 8 blocks this time. This wood seems harder and denser than other Walnut and makes a great knife handle. There was a wet coat of polyurethane on these blocks when this photo was taken. Now dry and settin around the the shop for a while, they're not as bright and shinny. Will finish out very nice though. The back side of these are as figured as the side shown. 2"x5"x 1" thick.
