I am curious as well. I am (still) in the process of hand finishing a FSH. I got the coatin off ok, but I am having a hard time sanding/polishing around the scallops in the scales. Any advice?

Cool in a very cheesy kind of way. I'll give away a secret though... My first "High end knife" was a Gil Hibben Double Shadow. I got it when I was 16 and you wouldn't have been able to catch me without it. Much less convince me it wan't the best knife in the world!

Maybe you could start another "Busse Custom Shop"!
