Several months ago someone (I'm sorry I can't find the thread or I'd give him credit here) posted a great idea for flaring lanyard tubes using flush screw heads. Tony Bose used that idea on a couple of knives and liked it but found it was a bit difficult keeping the screw heads where he wanted them...in the ends of the lanyard tube.
He came up with this idea of using the spinners that a friend of his machined for use with the drill press, and adapted them to the bench vise. Now the flaring tools stay in place as he manuvers the knife and tube around. No more searching around on the floor for those pesky screw heads.
